800G-OSFP800L-500-MSA Compatible 800G OSFP800 SR8 Linear Pluggable Optical Module. 800G-OSFP800L-502 is an 800G OSFP transceiver module, compatible with Multi-Vendor MSA standards, and designed for short-reach optical interconnects over single-mode fiber (SMF). The module supports an 800G electrical host interface (8×106.25Gbps PAM4) and provides an optical interface using VCSEL transmitters and PIN photodiode receivers. On the transmission side, the module converts 8×106.25Gbps PAM4 electrical input channels into optical signals across wavelengths from 1304.5nm to 1317.5nm, enabling up to 500 meters reach over single-mode fibre (SMF) with dual MPO-12 connectors. 800G-OSFP800L-502 provides an optical budget of 3 dB, with transmitter average launch power from –2.9 dBm to +4 dBm, and receiver sensitivity down to –5.9 dBm. The module supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) and operates over a 0°C to 70°C case temperature range. The module is RoHS compliant and meets CMIS Rev 4.0, CEI-112G-LINEAR-PAM4 standards.
