# Product Description

QSFP-100G-CU3M is Cisco compatible 100GBASE-CR4 QSFP Passive Copper Cable, operating over passive twinax cable with 3-meter length. Cisco compatible 100GBASE-CR4 QSFP Passive Copper Cable is equipped with MSA standard compatible QSFP28 transceiver assembly at each end of cable which is permanently linked to the QSFP28 connector delivering consistent link length. DAC cable allows direct communication between devices over copper wire. Cisco compatible QSFP-100G-CU3M 100G Passive Copper Cable supports 100.125 Gbps data rate and such applications as 100G Ethernet (100.125Gbps). Most popular applications of 100GBASE-CR4 QSFP Passive Copper Cable are cost effective close range Top-of-Rack type interconnections within equipment room of telecom operators or data centers, interconnecting LAN or SAN applications with speeds up to 100G. Key advantage for DAC (Direct Attach Cables) when compared with Active Optical Cables are lower cost due to passive components.
