# Product Description
The CVR-X2-SFP10G is a Cisco-compatible Adapter that allows for a smooth shift from an SFP+ form factor transceiver to an X2 form factor while maintaining high performance. Because it provides the option to employ SFP+ modules in legacy nodes or line cards which are equipped with X2 module interfaces, it enables a much more flexible migration path towards the contemporary form factors. Our Cisco CVR-X2-SFP10G compatible module compatibility and datasheet are based on our SFP-X2-CONV product. CVR-X2-SFP10G Cisco-compliant Adapter can be plugged directly into equipment that has an X2 module interface, and SFP+ transceivers can be inserted into the adapter to expand the installation flexibility.
