12-Channel Dual Fiber CCWDM Mux/Demux IP65 Outdoor Description
DCMD-12I is part of our Industrial Passive xWDM filter series and supports 12 CCWDM channel interconnection over double fiber using 1271-1371nm and 1471-1571nm wavelengths from ITU-T G.694.2 grid. This industrial-grade unit is designed for harsh outdoor environments supporting IP65 water and dust resistance, -40 to 85°C industrial temperature range, telecom pole or wall installation options, and comes with ODVA LC/UPC duplex connectors for easy and reliable fiber connection.
The unit is small in size, light in weight, simple to install, requires zero configuration or maintenance, and is fully passive - no power supply or cooling required. DCMD-12I can be used together with DCMD-12 which is a 1U unit deployed in a standard 19-inch telecom sub-rack, or can be paired with another Industrial DCMD-12I filter unit for outdoor-to-outdoor deployments. Our industrial class MUX/DEMUX unit uses Compact CWDM filter technology with 20nm channel spacing and provides 1.9 dB insertion loss with 30 dB adjacent channel isolation and 45 dB non-adjacent channel isolation.
xWDM filters are data rate and line protocol neutral, used in combination with colored optical transceivers which ensure desired application and data rate. Typical use cases for DCMD-12I filters are 5G/4G Mobile Fronthaul Network Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH) interconnection using CPRI/eCPRI protocol, Enterprise Network 25G/10G Ethernet links, or Datacenter 32/16/8G Fiber Channel connections.
