12-Channel Dual Fiber LWDM Mux/Demux IP65 Outdoor Description
DLMD-12I is part of our Industrial Passive xWDM filter series and supports 12 channel interconnection over double fiber using LWDM (LAN-WDM) wavelengths in the 1269-1318nm range with 4.5nm channel spacing and ±1.5nm passband. This industrial-grade unit is designed for harsh outdoor environments supporting IP65 water and dust resistance, -40 to 85°C industrial temperature range, telecom pole or wall installation options, and comes with ODVA LC/UPC duplex connectors for easy and reliable fiber connection.
The unit is small in size, light in weight, simple to install, requires zero configuration or maintenance, and is fully passive - no power supply or cooling required. DLMD-12I is designed for deployment in the far-end site and is used together in a scenario with DHMD-21 deployed in the main site and Industrial DCMD-9I deployed in the middle site. DLMD-12I connects to DHMD-21 through the DCMD-9I upgrade port, enabling scalable bus network topology. DLMD-12I uses TFF (thin-film filter) technology with band skip filters and provides 3 dB insertion loss with 30 dB adjacent channel isolation and 45 dB non-adjacent channel isolation.
xWDM filters are data rate and line protocol neutral, used in combination with colored optical transceivers which ensure desired application and data rate. Typical use cases for DLMD-12I filters are 5G/4G Mobile Fronthaul Network Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH) interconnection using CPRI/eCPRI protocol, Enterprise Network 25G/10G Ethernet links, or Datacenter 32/16/8G Fiber Channel connections. The unit is CE and RoHS certified.
