4-Channel Dual Fiber LAN-WDM Junction Box IP65 Outdoor Description
DLMD-4I is a 100G QSFP28 to 4x25G SFP28 Optical Junction Box and is part of our Industrial Passive xWDM filter series. The unit supports LAN-WDM wavelengths 1296-1309nm (1295.56nm, 1300.05nm, 1304.58nm, 1309.14nm) according to 100G LR4/ER4 grid with 4.5nm channel spacing and ±1.5nm passband. Depending on the distance requirements, DLMD-4I is connected to 100G-QSFP28-10 or 100G-QSFP28-40 transceivers.
This industrial-grade LWDM unit is designed for harsh outdoor environments supporting IP65 water and dust resistance, -40 to 85°C industrial temperature range, telecom pole or wall installation options, and comes with ODVA LC/UPC duplex connectors for easy and reliable fiber connection. The unit is small in size, light in weight, simple to install, requires zero configuration or maintenance, and is fully passive - no power supply or cooling required. DLMD-4I uses LWDM TFF (thin-film filter) technology with band skip filters to achieve 2.2 dB insertion loss with 30 dB adjacent channel isolation and 45 dB non-adjacent channel isolation.
xWDM filters are data rate and line protocol neutral, used in combination with colored optical transceivers which ensure desired application and data rate. Typical use cases for DLMD-4I filters are 5G/4G Mobile Fronthaul Network Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH) interconnection using CPRI/eCPRI protocol, Enterprise Network 100G to 4x25G Ethernet links, or Datacenter Fiber Channel connections. The unit is CE and RoHS certified.
