Our 6-Channel Single Fiber CCWDM Mux/Demux Side A enables fiber-efficient 5G fronthaul wavelength multiplexing. Supporting 25G-ready operation across ITU-T G.694.2 channels (1271-1371nm and 1471-1571nm), this passive LGX module provides below 1.7 dB insertion loss with integrated monitor port. Pair with Side B module for complete bidirectional single-fiber connectivity.

6-Channel Single Fiber CCWDM Mux/Demux LGX (Side A) Description

SCMD-6A is part of our Industrial Passive xWDM filter series and supports 6 bidirectional CCWDM channel interconnection over single fiber using 12 optical channels in the 1271-1371nm and 1471-1571nm wavelength bands from ITU-T G.694.2 grid. This BiDi MUX/DEMUX is a LGX type B module installed in standard 19-inch 1U telecom sub-rack, is simple to install, requires zero configuration or maintenance, and is fully passive - no power supply or cooling required. The unit operates within -5 to 70°C temperature range and features standard LC/UPC duplex connectors.

SCMD-6A is designed to work together with Industrial SCMD-6BI, which is deployed in harsh outdoor environments on the other side of the link. This A-side/B-side pairing enables single-fiber connectivity between central office and remote sites. Our product uses Compact CWDM filter technology with 20nm channel spacing and provides 1.7 dB insertion loss with 30 dB adjacent channel isolation, 45 dB non-adjacent channel isolation, and includes a monitor port which ensures easy troubleshooting without downtime.

xWDM filters are data rate and line protocol neutral, used in combination with colored BiDi optical transceivers which ensure desired application and data rate. Typical use cases for SCMD-6A filters are 5G/4G Mobile Fronthaul Network Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH) interconnection using CPRI/eCPRI protocol, Enterprise Network 25G/10G Ethernet links, or Datacenter 32/16/8G Fiber Channel connections. The unit is CE and RoHS certified.
