3HE00868AB Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent) Compatible 1G BiDi SFP, 20km

EdgeOptic's 3HE00868AB compatible is a Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent)-coded version of the EdgeOptic BIDI-1.25G-SFP-21-BD multi-vendor 1000BASE-BX-D single-fiber SFP transceiver. It transmits at 1490 nm and receives at 1310 nm over a single strand of single-mode fiber through one LC/UPC connector.

The BIDI-1.25G-SFP-21-BD design covers a 20 km reach with a 15 dB average link budget, spanning Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps) applications across a 1.063 to 1.25 Gbps data rate range. This EdgeOptic compatible module is engineered to the 20 km, 15 dB link budget; verify the OEM's own published reach rating separately before assuming equivalence.

The transmitter is a DFB laser paired with a PIN photodiode receiver, with minimum transmit power of −9 dBm, maximum transmit power of 3 dBm, receiver sensitivity of −22 dBm and overload of −3 dBm. Operating temperature is the standard commercial range, 0 to 70C, on a single 3.3V supply; this compatible module is not rated for the industrial temperature range Nokia publishes for the OEM 3HE00868AB-class part. Digital diagnostic monitoring is supported per SFF-8472.
