EdgeOptic's 3HE05894AA compatible is a Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent)-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-80 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ZR transceiver. It carries the Nokia vendor code so the module is recognized on Nokia service router and transport equipment. The optic matches the 1550nm 80km ZR build documented for the 3HE05894AA part number.

The module delivers 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 80km of single-mode fiber through a duplex LC connector, and STM-64 SONET/SDH at the 9.95 Gbps line rate. An EML transmitter and APD receiver reach the full ZR distance. Transmit power runs from 0 to +5 dBm, receiver sensitivity is better than −24 dBm, and the resulting 23 dB link budget covers the 80km span. Chromatic dispersion tolerance is 1600 ps/nm. Digital diagnostics report temperature, supply voltage, laser bias, transmit power, and received power.
