EdgeOptic's 473842A.101 compatible is a Nokia-coded fronthaul version of the EdgeOptic 10GFH-SFP-300I multi-vendor 10G fronthaul SR transceiver. It carries the Nokia 473842A.101 (FOUC) part identity for short-range multimode mobile fronthaul links and operates at 9.8304 Gbps, matching CPRI option 7. The single compatible design carries multiple vendor codes, so the same optical hardware drops into Nokia radio links under the FOUC part number.

The module transmits at 850 nm over duplex multimode fiber using a VCSEL laser and a PIN photodiode receiver. It reaches 300 m over OM3 and farther over OM4 or OM5, with a 5.1 dB optical path loss budget and chromatic dispersion of 110 ps/nm.
