Allied Telesis compatible AT-SP10BD20-13 Description
EdgeOptic's AT-SP10BD20-13 compatible is an Allied Telesis-coded Tx1330/Rx1270 version of the EdgeOptic BIDI-10G-SFP-20B multi-vendor 10G BiDi SFP+ transceiver. It transmits at 1330 nm and receives at 1270 nm, carrying a full 10 Gigabit Ethernet link over a single strand of single-mode fiber with one simplex LC connector. The EEPROM is coded for Allied Telesis switching equipment, so the module is recognized and brought up without additional configuration.
Reach is 20 km over single-mode fiber with a 9 dB link budget, matching the distance Allied Telesis documents for the original AT-SP10BD20-13. Optical performance follows the EdgeOptic BIDI-10G-SFP-20B specification: a DFB laser transmitter rated −5 dBm to 0 dBm, a PIN photodiode receiver with −14.5 dBm sensitivity, and a +4 dBm receiver overload point. The module operates across a 0 to 70°C temperature range and runs from a +3.3 V supply.
DDM/DOM digital diagnostics report transmit power, receive power, temperature, laser bias current, and supply voltage for live link monitoring. Supported traffic is 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, which covers the SFP+ ports on Allied Telesis switches. Verify the SFP+ port specification on the target chassis before deployment. The module is built to the SFP MSA and SFF-8431, with SFF-8472 digital diagnostics, and is CE, RoHS, and Class 1 laser safe per IEC 60825-1.
BiDi modules work in matched pairs over one fiber. The AT-SP10BD20-13 compatible transmits at 1330 nm and must connect to a 1270 nm transmit module at the far end, which is the AT-SP10BD20-12. Ordering two of the same direction will not establish a link. The matching EdgeOptic pair is the BIDI-10G-SFP-20B and BIDI-10G-SFP-20A.
Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms. The AT-SP10BD20-13 compatible ships next business day from EU stock with a lifetime warranty. For deployment questions or bulk pricing, contact our sales team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which module pairs with the AT-SP10BD20-13 on the remote end?
The AT-SP10BD20-13 is the downstream side of the Allied Telesis BiDi pair: it transmits at 1330 nm and receives at 1270 nm. The remote end of the fiber needs the AT-SP10BD20-12, which transmits at 1270 nm and receives at 1330 nm. A working single-fiber link always uses one of each direction. The matching EdgeOptic pair is the BIDI-10G-SFP-20B and BIDI-10G-SFP-20A.
