Allied Telesis compatible AT-SP10LR Description
EdgeOptic's AT-SP10LR compatible is an Allied Telesis-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR transceiver. AT-SP10LR is the Allied Telesis ordering code for a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ running 1310 nm over duplex single-mode fiber to 10 km. EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM for Allied Telesis host recognition, so the module works on Allied Telesis switches that accept 10G SFP+ optics.
A 1310 nm DFB laser launches between −8.2 and 0.5 dBm into the fiber, and the PIN photodiode receiver works down to −14.5 dBm with a 0 dBm overload ceiling. A 6 dB link budget covers the 10 km reach on LC-terminated single-mode fiber. The module meets IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 for the optical interface and SFF-8431 with SFF-8432 for the SFP+ form factor.
The 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps rate window covers 10G Ethernet (10.31 Gbps), Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps) and STM-64 (9.95 Gbps), with the host port setting the active rate. SFF-8472 digital diagnostics report optical power, module temperature, supply voltage and laser bias current. The module runs from a single +3.3 V supply, is hot-pluggable, and is rated for a commercial 0 to 70 °C case range.
