Allied Telesis compatible AT-SP10LR20/I Description
EdgeOptic's AT-SP10LR20/I compatible is an Allied Telesis-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-20I multi-vendor 10G LR-class long-haul SFP+ transceiver. It uses a DFB laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver at 1310 nm (1260 to 1360 nm band), reaching 20 km over duplex single-mode fiber through a Double LC/UPC connector with a 9 dB link budget. Minimum transmit power is -8.2 dBm and maximum transmit power is +0.5 dBm, with receive sensitivity of -14.5 dBm, receive overload at 0 dBm, and chromatic dispersion from 140 to 160 ps/nm. The supported data rate spans 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps, covering 10G Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 1G and 10G Fibre Channel, and SDH/SONET STM-64 framing. Digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) reports power, bias current, temperature and voltage in real time.
Allied Telesis's own documentation lists the SP10LR20/I as a 10G LR single-mode SFP+ with extended temperature rating and 20 km reach. Switch datasheets for the x330, x510, x530L, x930, GS900MX/MPX, SBx8100/CFC400, IX5-28GPX and AT-IE510-28GSX families document it as a 1310 nm long-haul optic rated to 20 km with industrial temperature support. Allied Telesis publishes an industrial operating range of -40C to 85C for the OEM part; EdgeOptic's compatible module is independently rated from -45C to 85C. It runs on a single 3.3V supply and carries CE, Class 1 FDA, IEC 60825-1 and RoHS compliance, built to the SFP MSA and SFF-8431 electrical specification. Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms, this module is made to order with a 2 week lead time and a lifetime warranty. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the AT-SP10LR/I and the AT-SP10LR20/I?
Allied Telesis offers more than one reach class in this LR/I series. The AT-SP10LR20/I on this page is documented by Allied Telesis at 20 km. Verify the exact reach of any other AT-SP10LR-family part number against Allied Telesis's own transceiver documentation before ordering, since the part numbers in this family are not interchangeable.
Does the AT-SP10LR20/I support Fibre Channel or SDH/SONET on Allied Telesis switches?
The underlying hardware envelope covers 1G and 10G Fibre Channel and SDH/SONET STM-64 framing in addition to 10G and Gigabit Ethernet. The Allied Telesis switch families that document the AT-SP10LR20/I, including the x330, x510, x530L, x930, GS900MX/MPX, SBx8100/CFC400, IX5-28GPX and AT-IE510-28GSX, are Ethernet switching platforms. Fibre Channel and SDH/SONET framing require host hardware built for those protocols; verify the target platform's capability before planning a non-Ethernet deployment.
