Allied Telesis compatible AT-SP10ZR80/I Description

EdgeOptic's AT-SP10ZR80/I compatible is an Allied Telesis-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-80 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ZR transceiver. It runs over duplex single-mode fiber with a 23 dB link budget, which carries a 10G signal across roughly 80 km of standard SMF. The module uses an EML laser at 1550 nm and an APD photodiode receiver, with TX output from 0 to +5 dBm and RX sensitivity down to −24 dBm. Chromatic dispersion tolerance is about 1600 ps/nm.

The transceiver carries data rates from 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps and supports 10G Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet links. Allied Telesis SP10 Series modules seat in Allied Telesis switches and routers with SFP+ uplinks, where the scope is 10GbE and GbE; verify the application against the chassis transceiver table for the specific Allied Telesis model. The hot-pluggable module uses a duplex LC connector on OS1 or OS2 single-mode fiber, runs on a single +3.3V supply, and reports real-time temperature, voltage, laser bias, and optical power through DDM/DOM. On spans well under 80 km, add an inline optical attenuator to keep received power within the operating window. A single 1550 nm wavelength over single-mode fiber suits campus backbone and inter-site uplinks that run past the 40 km reach of an ER optic.

The Allied Telesis OEM part carries the /I suffix to denote an industrial temperature build rated −40 to +85 degrees C. The EdgeOptic compatible is the standard 0 to 70 degrees C grade. For deployments that require the industrial temperature range, contact our sales team to discuss the correct build.

The module is CE marked, Class 1 laser compliant to IEC 60825-1, RoHS compliant, and built to the SFP+ MSA and SFF-8431. Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms. Ships next business day from EU stock with a lifetime warranty. For help matching this part to your network, contact our sales team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the EdgeOptic AT-SP10ZR80/I compatible run at the OEM industrial temperature range?

The Allied Telesis /I suffix marks the industrial build rated −40 to +85 degrees C. The EdgeOptic compatible is the standard 0 to 70 degrees C grade. If the deployment needs the industrial temperature range, contact our sales team to confirm the right build before ordering.
