Allied Telesis compatible AT-SPSX Description

EdgeOptic's AT-SPSX compatible is an Allied Telesis-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1.25G-SFP-550D multi-vendor 1000BASE-SX transceiver. It runs Gigabit Ethernet at 1.25 Gbps (IEEE 802.3z) and 1G Fibre Channel short-wave at 1.0625 Gbps over duplex multimode fiber, using an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver.

A 7.5 dB optical budget carries the link 550 m over OM2 multimode fiber (50/125, 500 MHz·km) and 275 m over OM1 (62.5/125). The module uses a duplex LC/UPC interface, supports DDM/DOM diagnostics for optical power, bias current and temperature, and operates across the commercial 0 to 70°C range on a +3.3V supply. It is built to the INF-8074i SFP MSA, CE/RoHS certified, Class 1 laser safety.

AT-SPSX is Allied Telesis's ordering code for the base 1000SX SFP (LC, MMF, 850 nm) in the SP Series. EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM with Allied Telesis-recognized data so the module is accepted in Allied Telesis equipment with SFP uplink ports; check the transceiver table in the Allied Telesis datasheet for the switch model in question. Allied Telesis lists AT-SPSX-90 as a separate ordering code carrying a Trade Agreements Act (TAA) marker, so buyers on a federal procurement schedule should confirm which Allied Telesis ordering code their contract requires.

Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms. Ships next business day from EU stock with a lifetime warranty. For ordering-code confirmation or platform questions, contact our sales team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Allied Telesis SPSX ordering code covers an industrial or extended-temperature installation?

AT-SPSX is the standard-temperature ordering code: Allied Telesis rates the SPSX at 0 to 70°C in its SP Series datasheet, and this EdgeOptic compatible is the 0 to 70°C module. For harsher environments Allied Telesis publishes separate ordering codes, including AT-SPSX/I-90 at -40 to 85°C and AT-SPSX/E at -40 to 105°C. Confirm which code the site requires in the Allied Telesis SP Series ordering information, or contact our sales team about extended-temperature options.
