The 200G-AOC-QSFP-DD features point-to-point configuration with QSFP-DD connectors on both ends, utilizing embedded parallel multimode fiber optic technology to deliver reliable high-bandwidth connectivity up to 100 meters for data center interconnects, inter-row aggregation, and campus backbone links in hyperscale environments.
The cable supports aggregate data rates of 200 Gbps across an 8-lane parallel optical architecture, with each lane operating at 25.78125 Gbps NRZ. The cable is implemented as 2x100GBASE-SR4 channels within a single QSFP-DD housing, allowing operators to use the cable as a single 200G connection or as two independent 100GBASE-SR4 links for flexible deployment in mixed 200G/100G environments. For Ethernet deployments, the cable supports 200G Ethernet at full line rate with host-based Forward Error Correction (FEC) and 100GBASE-SR4 operation for backward-compatible 100G connectivity, making the cable suitable for spine-leaf topologies, high-performance server connectivity, and inter-switch aggregation links.
The 200G-AOC-QSFP-DD operates at 850nm wavelength, utilizing an 8-channel VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) array for transmission and an 8-channel PIN photodiode array for receiving.
