It carries the HP X121 1G SFP LC SX optical spec: an 850nm VCSEL transmitter, a PIN photodiode receiver, and a duplex LC interface over multimode fiber. The module runs dual-rate, covering 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet at 1.25 Gbps and 1G Fibre Channel short-wave at 1.0625 Gbps, in line with IEEE 802.3z and FC-PI.
