EdgeOptic's J9153D compatible is an Aruba-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-40 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ER SFP+ transceiver. J9153D is the current ordering code in the HPE Aruba X132 10G SFP+ LC ER family; J9153A is the original revision. The optical layer uses a DFB laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver at 1550 nm over standard ITU-T G.652 single-mode fiber. The chromatic dispersion tolerance covers the 800 to 1000 ps/nm range typical of 40 km G.652 spans at 1550 nm.
