JL563B HPE Aruba Compatible 10GBASE-T SFP+ RJ45 30 m Cat6a Transceiver

EdgeOptic's JL563B compatible is an HPE Aruba-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-T multi-vendor 10GBASE-T copper SFP+ transceiver. It is built as a direct replacement for the HPE Aruba JL563B and ships with EEPROM coding that AOS-CX inventory accepts on platforms which list this ordering code in the current Aruba Transceiver Guide. JL563B is the later HPE part number alongside JL563A; HPE lists them as separate ordering codes, and the EdgeOptic compatible matches the JL563B SKU specifically.

Per the HPE official product listing, JL563B is a 10GBASE-T SFP+ RJ45 module rated for 30 m on Cat6a copper. Some third-party reseller listings cite 80 m for the same SKU; the HPE official spec is 30 m, and 10GBASE-T over copper SFP+ is not physically capable of 80 m. The module operates at 10G only and does not auto-negotiate down to 1G; it is also not supported through a QSA28 adapter, per the Aruba transceiver guide. Electrical interface follows the SFF-8431 SFP+ MSA with IEEE 802.3an for 10G. Operating temperature covers 0 to 65 °C with CE and RoHS certification.

There is no laser, so transmit optical power, receive optical power, and laser bias current do not exist on this part and are not reported. Inventory tooling that expects optical DDM values should be configured to treat the module as a copper transceiver.
