EdgeOptic's 57-0000076-01 compatible is a Brocade-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR transceiver. 57-0000076-01 is Brocade's part number for a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ running at 1310 nm over 10 km single-mode fiber. Built to IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 and the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431, SFF-8432), the EdgeOptic module carries Brocade EEPROM coding for host recognition and works on Brocade switches and routers that accept 10G SFP+ optics.
Output leaves a DFB laser at 1310 nm across duplex single-mode fiber on an LC connector, holding 10 km at a 6 dB link budget. Launch power stays between −8.2 and 0.5 dBm, while the PIN photodiode receiver is rated for −14.5 dBm sensitivity and 0 dBm overload. SFF-8472 digital diagnostics expose TX and RX power, temperature, supply voltage, and laser bias current for live monitoring.
The transceiver spans 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps and carries 10G Ethernet (10.31 Gbps), Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps), and STM-64 (9.95 Gbps), each selected by the host port. A single +3.3 V rail powers the module across a 0 to 70 °C commercial range, and it supports hot insertion.
