Cisco compatible SFP-10/25G-BXU-I is a BIDI (Bidirectional) SFP28 (Small Form-Factor Pluggable 28) Transceiver, operating over Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) optical cable. It has minimum guaranteed optical budget of 8.3 dB, which in most cases is enough to reach 10 km over OS2 fiber. However, distance is just indicative parameter for comfort of identification that is calculated by taking into account minimal optical budget and average attenuation of optical cabling in industry. Cisco compatible SFP-10/25G-BXU-I uses top quality DFB (Distributed Feedback Laser) transmitter which operates at nominal wavelength 1270nm and 25Gb/s PIN photodiode receiver operating at 1330nm wavelength. As bidirectional (BIDI) single fiber transceiver SFP-10/25G-BXU-I (Tx:1270nm Rx:1330nm) transceiver usually works in pair with SFP-10/25G-BXD-I (Tx:1330nm Rx:1270nm) transceiver to establish link. Module supports DDM/DOM optical diagnostics that provide real-time diagnostic information about the present operating conditions. Module operates in Industrial -45°C – +85°C temperature range and has Single LC interface. Cisco compatible SFP-10/25G-BXU-I chipset supports 8.5-28.1 Gbps multi rate speeds and typically is used in such applications as 25G Ethernet (25.78Gbps), 10G Ethernet (10.31Gbps). Additionally module can support CPRI datarate options: CPRI option 10 (24.33 Gbps), CPRI option 9 (12.165 Gbps), CPRI option 8 (10.138 Gbps), CPRI option 7 (9.830 Gbps), where this functionality needs to be requested when ordering.
