# Product Description
QSFP-4SFP25G-CU5M is Cisco compatible 100G QSFP to 4xSFP25G 5 meter Passive Copper Splitter Cable, operating over copper cable. 100G Passive breakout cable is equipped with Cisco compatible QSFP28 transceiver assembly at one end of cable and SFP28 assembly at each end of four breakouts. As passive cables do not support any electrical transmission signal boosting or regeneration, length of cable is limited up to 5 meter, which is enough to support 100G connections within same or neighboring equipment racks. QSFP-4SFP25G-CU5M supports 4 separate fully duplex copper data lanes, which support 103.125Gbps communication and such applications as 100G Ethernet (103.125Gbps). Most popular applications of 100G Passive Breakout Cables are cost effective close range interconnections within equipment room of telecom operators or data centers, interconnecting LAN or SAN applications with speeds up to 100G. Cisco QSFP-4SFP25G-CU5M Passive Breakout Cable is suitable for short links and offers a cost-effective application of connecting cables within and across racks.
