CVR-QSFP-SFP10G Cisco Compatible QSFP+ to SFP+ Adapter

EdgeOptic's CVR-QSFP-SFP10G compatible is a Cisco-coded version of the EdgeOptic QSFP-SFP-CONV multi-vendor QSFP+ to SFP+ adapter. CVR-QSFP-SFP10G is Cisco's part number for a QSFP+ to SFP+ adapter module that lets a single 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ transceiver plug into a 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ port.

The adapter presents an SFP+ interface inside a QSFP+ form factor, so a single SFP+ transceiver can operate in a QSFP+ port at the SFP+ transceiver's own rate rather than at 40G. Supported data rate spans 1.25 to 10.31 Gbps, with 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10.31 Gbps) as the supported application. FEC is not supported.

Digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) is supported, giving visibility into the connected SFP+ transceiver's operating parameters. The adapter draws power from a single 3.3V supply at 0.25W maximum and operates across a standard 0 to 70 degree Celsius range. It meets SFF-8431, the QSFP+ MSA, the SFP+ MSA, CE and RoHS.
