The DS-SFP-FC10G-LW is a Cisco compatible SFP+ (Small Form Factor Pluggable) Transceiver that operates over Double Fiber Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) optical cable. It has a minimum guaranteed optical budget of 6 dB, which is usually enough to reach a distance of roughly 10 kilometers. Distance, on the other hand, is merely an indicator metric determined for ease of identification. Finally, we calculate distance using a minimum optical budget and industry average attenuation of optical cabling. Cisco compatible DS-SFP-FC10G-LW uses a high-quality DFB Laser transmitter with a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm and a PIN Photodiode receiver with a 1310 nm nominal wavelength. It supports DDM/DOM optical diagnostics and provides diagnostic data on current operating conditions. The Cisco compatible DS-SFP-FC10G-LW features a Double LC interface and functions in the standard 0°-70°C temperature range.
