EdgeOptic's DWDM-SFP10G-C-S compatible is a Cisco-coded tunable 10G DWDM SFP+ transceiver for 80 km C-Band single-mode fiber links. Unlike the linear DWDM-SFP10G-C, the -C-S includes a built-in decision circuit (limiting receiver), so it works on any standard digital SFP+ port without requiring EDC on the host side. The module is manufactured to the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431) and ships with Cisco-recognized vendor coding, so IOS XE and NX-OS accept it natively without the service unsupported-transceiver command.

Optical specifications: tunable across the ITU 50 GHz C-Band grid (Channels 17 to 61, 1528.38 to 1564.68 nm, 89 channels). Reach 80 km over duplex SMF with a 23 dB optical link budget. Tunable monolithic MZM TOSA on the transmit side, APD photodiode on the receive side. Launch power −1 to +4 dBm, RX sensitivity better than −23 dBm, dispersion tolerance 1600 ps/nm.
