EdgeOptic's QDD-400G-LR4-S compatible is a Cisco-coded version of the EdgeOptic 400G-QSFP-DD-11 multi-vendor 400GBASE-LR4 QSFP-DD transceiver. Signaling is PAM4 at a 425 Gbps aggregate line rate, delivering 400G Ethernet over a duplex LC/UPC interface on standard single-mode fiber. The link supports a 7.1 dB average optical link budget, which covers reaches up to 10 km over OS2 fiber. Average launch power per lane runs from −2.8 dBm to +4 dBm, and receiver sensitivity is rated at −9.1 dBm per lane.
