Cisco compatible QSFP-100G-CWDM4-S Description

EdgeOptic's QSFP-100G-CWDM4-S compatible is a Cisco-coded 100GBASE-CWDM4 version of the EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-2.1 multi-vendor CWDM4 QSFP28 2km transceiver. The Cisco spare ordering variant QSFP-100G-CWDM4-S= refers to the same module.

The module uses the four-channel CWDM grid at 1271, 1291, 1311, and 1331 nm with NRZ modulation across each lane. Output is duplex LC/UPC and the module supports 2 km links over G.652 single-mode fibre. The optical front end uses DML transmitters and PIN receivers. Host-side FEC is supported.

The QSFP-100G-CWDM4-S covers 100 Gigabit Ethernet at 103.125 Gbps per Cisco's specifications. The EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-2.1 platform additionally supports OTU4 (112 Gbps) and 4x32G Fibre Channel (112.2 Gbps) variants for transport and SAN deployments.
