D-link compatible DEM-432XT-DD Description
EdgeOptic's DEM-432XT-DD compatible is a D-Link-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR transceiver. D-Link's transceiver datasheet lists DEM-432XT-DD as an IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR SFP+ on single-mode fiber at 1310 nm, 10 km, with a duplex LC connector and digital diagnostics. The EdgeOptic module matches that class and meets IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 along with the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431, SFF-8432). EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM for D-Link host recognition, so the module reports correctly on D-Link switches that accept 10G SFP+ optics.
Transmission runs at 1310 nm over duplex single-mode fiber, with an LC connector at the faceplate and a 6 dB link budget across the 10 km span. Launch power from the DFB laser stays between −8.2 and 0.5 dBm. The PIN receiver is specified to −14.5 dBm sensitivity and tolerates input up to 0 dBm before overload. Digital diagnostics follow SFF-8472, so host software can read optical power, temperature, supply voltage, and bias current live.
