D-link compatible DEM-434XT Description
EdgeOptic's DEM-434XT compatible is a D-Link coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-80 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ZR transceiver. It is a duplex single-mode SFP+ module that carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet over a 1550 nm wavelength to 80 km, programmed with D-Link-recognized EEPROM so the host reads it as a genuine DEM-434XT. The same EdgeOptic 10GBASE-ZR module ships under multiple vendor codes; this listing is the D-Link variant.
The optics use an EML transmitter and an APD receiver to deliver a 23 dB link budget across the 80 km span. Transmit power runs 0 to +5 dBm and receive sensitivity is better than −24 dBm, with a chromatic dispersion tolerance of 1600 ps/nm. Both transmit and receive operate at 1550 nm over a duplex LC/UPC interface on standard G.652 single-mode fiber. Digital diagnostics monitoring is supported, so transmit power, receive power, laser bias, temperature, and supply voltage are all readable from the host for commissioning and ongoing fault isolation.
