EdgeOptic's ET4202-SX compatible is an Edgecore Networks-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1.25G-SFP-550D multi-vendor 1000BASE-SX transceiver. It runs Gigabit Ethernet at 1.25 Gbps (IEEE 802.3z) and 1G Fibre Channel SW at 1.0625 Gbps over duplex multimode fiber, with an 850nm VCSEL transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver.
A 7.5 dB optical budget carries the link 550m over OM2 multimode fiber (50/125, 500 MHz·km) and 275m over OM1 (62.5/125). The optical interface is duplex LC/UPC, and DDM/DOM diagnostics report optical power, bias current, temperature and supply voltage while the link is up. The module operates across the commercial 0 to 70°C range on a +3.3V supply, built to the INF-8074i SFP MSA, with CE/RoHS and Class 1 laser safety.
ET4202-SX is the Edgecore Networks ordering code for a 1G 550m SFP.
