Extreme compatible 10325 Description
EdgeOptic's 10325 compatible is an Extreme Networks-coded tunable 10G DWDM SFP+ for ExtremeXOS-based switches. The module ships with EEPROM data programmed to match the Extreme Networks 10325 part number, so the host switch reads it as a recognized Extreme pluggable and provisions the port for tunable DWDM operation under EXOS.
Optical interface: tunable laser steps the ITU 50 GHz C-Band grid across Channels 17 to 61, covering 1528.38 nm to 1564.68 nm (89 channels). Launch power −1 dBm to +4 dBm, receiver sensitivity −23 dBm, receiver overload −6 dBm, 23 dB optical link budget for 80 km duplex single-mode fiber on LC connectors. Dispersion tolerance 1600 ps/nm. Monolithic MZM Tunable TOSA transmitter, APD photodiode receiver. Multi-rate from 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps covers 10GE, 8G/10G Fibre Channel, STM-64, OTU2, OTU2e, OTU2f, OTU1e, OTU1f, ODU2, and ODU2e. DOM/DDM telemetry over I²C, 0 to 70 °C operating range, CE/RoHS, Class 1 laser, SFF-8431 SFP+ MSA mechanical.
Extreme host context: the SFP+ footprint and full C-Band tunable optics align with Extreme Networks BlackDiamond 8800 and 12800 chassis platforms and the Summit X-series fixed-form switches running ExtremeXOS. Wavelength selection is configured through EXOS CLI for the target port, and per-channel optical power is monitored via DOM. Cross-check the target chassis model and EXOS revision against the Extreme Networks pluggable transceivers compatibility documentation before deployment.
Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms. Made to order with a 2-week lead time and a lifetime warranty included. Frequently Asked Questions
How many DWDM channels does the EdgeOptic 10325 compatible tune across?
EdgeOptic's 10325 compatible tunes across Channels 17 to 61 on the ITU 50 GHz C-Band grid, 1528.38 nm to 1564.68 nm, which is 89 channels. Extreme Networks' published pluggable specification documents a wider hardware-side tuning range of 102 channels (1528.38 nm to 1568.77 nm) on the same 50 GHz grid. Standard EXOS deployments configure channels in the Ch17-61 range; if a project requires channels above 1564.68 nm, verify against the Extreme Networks pluggable transceivers documentation and contact us before specifying.
