FTCD4313E2PCL is the second-generation (E2) 400GBASE-FR4 QSFP-DD from Finisar's FTCD4313 family -- now under Coherent after the Finisar > II-VI > Coherent acquisition chain. EdgeOptic's compatible matches this OEM module's optical and electrical interface for a direct drop-in replacement.
Finisar split the FTCD4313 into two generations and two temperature grades. E2PCL is second-gen, commercial temp (0 to 70 C). PCL = commercial, PXL = extended temperature (-5 to 85 C). The first-gen E1PCL uses the same 400G FR4 optical standard but may differ in power draw and internal DSP design. Don't swap part numbers between generations -- the E2 variant matters for inventory tracking even though optical output is identical. When replacing an installed FTCD4313E2PCL, order the E2 specifically.
