Finisar compatible FTLC9552FEPM Description

EdgeOptic's FTLC9552FEPM compatible is a Finisar-coded version of the EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-100 multi-vendor QSFP28 transceiver. One physical 100GBASE-SR4 design ships against the EEPROM coding required across the major switch vendors, including the Finisar OEM ordering reference. The module covers 100 Gb Ethernet over four parallel 25 Gb/s lanes on multi-mode fiber to the 100GBASE-SR4 specification.

Optical specifications: 850 nm VCSEL transmitters across four lanes, RX sensitivity better than −10.3 dBm per lane, 1.9 dB average link budget, 100 m reach over OM4 and 70 m over OM3. The line side runs NRZ at an aggregate 103.125 Gb/s with no host FEC required for the SR4 PMD. MTP/MPO-12 UPC connector on the front panel; the transceiver port is female, so the patch cable presents the male pinned ferrule. Use a Type B polarity patch when bridging transceiver to transceiver. DDM/DOM monitoring reports transmit power, receive power and bias current per lane, plus module-level temperature and supply voltage.

Built to the QSFP28 MSA (SFF-8665) and the IEEE 802.3bm Clause 95 100GBASE-SR4 PMD. The module operates over the 0 to 70 °C commercial range at 3.5 W maximum and carries the standard CE / RoHS conformance. EdgeOptic codes the part to match the Finisar OEM module EEPROM, enabling recognition on switching platforms that accept the Finisar ordering code.
