EdgeOptic's FTLF8526W4BTL compatible is a Finisar-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10GFH-SFP-300I multi-vendor mobile-fronthaul transceiver. The original Finisar FTLF8526W4BTL is a 6G CPRI wireless SFP+ rated to a maximum line rate of 6.1 Gbps over the 850nm short-wavelength multimode class. The EdgeOptic compatible matches that physical SFP+ interface and lifts the rate ceiling to 10.138 Gbps, so a single coded part covers both the original 6G CPRI links and the higher-rate options that 5G fronthaul requires.
The module operates across a multi-rate range of 1.228 to 10.138 Gbps, covering CPRI options 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 plus OBSAI RP3 x2/x4/x8. The original Finisar part reaches CPRI options up to option 6 at its 6.1 Gbps ceiling, which served 4G LTE radio links.
