EdgeOptic's FTLX1471D3BCL-1T compatible is a Finisar-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR transceiver. FTLX1471D3BCL-1T is a Finisar ordering code in the company's 10GBASE-LR/LW SFP+ line: 1310 nm DFB, single-mode fiber, duplex LC, rated to 10 km. The EdgeOptic module meets IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 and the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431, SFF-8432). EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM for Finisar host recognition, so the module reports correctly on platforms that accept Finisar-coded 10G SFP+ optics.
The optical interface is 1310 nm on duplex single-mode fiber, LC terminated, with a 6 dB link budget across the 10 km reach. A DFB laser holds launch power in the −8.2 to 0.5 dBm range.
