Main difference distinguishing Passive from Active Twinax cables is that Passive cables do not support any electrical transmission signal boosting or regeneration. FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-L1 50G Passive Twinax cable support 10.31 - 53.125 Gbps multi-rate communication and such applications as 10G Ethernet | 25G Ethernet | 50G Ethernet.
