EdgeOptic's FN-TRAN-SFP+GC compatible is a Fortinet-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-T multi-vendor 10GBASE-T SFP+ transceiver. The module carries an RJ45 connector over Cat 6A/7 copper cabling to a maximum reach of 30 meters, matching the FN-TRAN-SFP+GC order code published in the Fortinet Transceivers Data Sheet. It installs in FortiGate firewalls with SFP+ cages; confirm the certified transceiver list for the exact FortiGate model and FortiOS build through Fortinet before ordering.
Supported Ethernet applications span 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T and 10GBASE-T per IEEE 802.3an and IEEE 802.3bz, with a data rate range of 0.1 to 10 Gbps.
