EdgeOptic's MTRQ-4LA01 compatible is an HG Genuine-coded 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28 transceiver, built on the same 100G-QSFP28-10 hardware platform we ship for our other 10 km LR4 SKUs. HG Genuine (Wuhan Huagong Genuine Optics Tech) uses the MTRQ prefix for its QSFP28 module family, and the EEPROM on each EdgeOptic unit is programmed for HG Genuine recognition so the module identifies cleanly in any host that expects an HG Genuine OEM part.

Optically, the module is a textbook IEEE 802.3ba Clause 88 LR4. An EML transmitter array drives four LAN WDM channels at 1295.56, 1300.05, 1304.58 and 1309.14 nm, each carrying 25.78125 Gbps NRZ for an aggregate line rate of 103.125 Gbps. A passive multiplexer combines the four lanes onto one outbound fiber, and a PIN photodiode array recovers them at the far end. The minimum guaranteed optical budget is 6.3 dB, which covers 10 km on clean G.652 single-mode fiber at typical 0.35 dB/km plant attenuation. TX power is specified at -4.3 to +4.5 dBm with RX sensitivity of -10.6 dBm, and the module draws roughly 3.5 W.
