EdgeOptic's LTA1305-PC+ compatible is a Hisense Broadband-coded version of the EdgeOptic 40G-QSFP-10 multi-vendor 40GBASE-LR4 transceiver. Hisense Broadband is an optical module manufacturer, and the LTA1305-PC+ is its own QSFP+ part number. The optic is coded for clean identification across networking equipment with 40GBASE-LR4 QSFP+ interfaces. Verify the part against your platform's transceiver guide before deployment.
The module is a QSFP+ 40GBASE-LR4 optic that reaches 10 km over duplex single-mode fiber on a double LC/UPC connector. Four DFB lasers multiplex CWDM lanes at 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm, received on a PIN photodiode. Per-lane launch power runs −6 to +3 dBm, receiver sensitivity is −12.6 dBm, and RX overload is +3 dBm, giving an average link budget of 6.6 dB. It operates from 0 to 70 °C and conforms to IEEE 802.3ba Clause 87 and the QSFP+ MSA (INF-8438i, SFF-8436), with DOM/DDM monitoring of temperature, supply voltage, laser bias and optical power.
As a module-level optic, the underlying transceiver supports multirate operation beyond 40 Gigabit Ethernet, covering OTU3 at 43.01 Gb/s, OTU3e2 at 44.58 Gb/s, and STM-256 at 39.81 Gb/s. Whether these transport rates are usable depends entirely on the host system; verify the supported protocols against your platform's transceiver guide before relying on OTN or SDH operation.
