Hisense Broadband compatible LTA1328-PC+ Description

EdgeOptic's LTA1328-PC+ compatible is a Hisense Broadband-coded version of the EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-2.1 multi-vendor 100G CWDM4 QSFP28 transceiver. Hisense Broadband is the original optical module manufacturer behind this code, and the EdgeOptic compatible carries EEPROM coding so the optic reports as a recognized 100G CWDM4 part in QSFP28 ports that accept CWDM4 modules.

Built to the 100G CWDM4 MSA and 100G CLR4 Alliance specification, the module runs four NRZ lanes on the CWDM grid at 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm and multiplexes them onto a single duplex LC single-mode pair. The coarse WDM spacing follows ITU-T G.694.2, the wavelength plan that defines the CWDM4 2 km reach class. DML transmitters drive PIN receivers, and the optic supports 2 km over G.652 SMF. Digital diagnostics report temperature, supply voltage, laser bias, and per-lane optical power through the SFF-8636 and SFF-8665 management interface. The operating range is commercial 0 to 70°C, and the QSFP28 housing seats in any standard QSFP28 cage.

The EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-2.1 hardware behind this code is rated for three traffic types: 100G Ethernet, 4x32G Fibre Channel, and OTU4. This LTA1328-PC+ ordering code is deployed for 100G Ethernet links. When a span calls for the Fibre Channel or OTU4 service on the same module, contact our sales team to match the correct part to the application.

Confirm host port support against the chassis transceiver table before deploying, and verify the link distance stays within the 2 km CWDM4 reach class. Because the CWDM4 wavelength plan differs from the LAN-WDM grid used by LR4 optics, a CWDM4 module does not interoperate with an LR4 module on the far end of a link. Single-mode fiber and a clean duplex LC termination are required at both ends of the span.

Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms. Ships next business day from EU stock with a lifetime warranty.
