EdgeOptic's LTF1502-BC1 compatible is a Hisense Broadband-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-80 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ZR transceiver. The optical path is duplex single-mode fiber terminated on a Double LC/UPC connector, with the 1550 nm transmit and receive wavelengths matched for spans up to 80 km. EdgeOptic codes the module with Hisense-recognized EEPROM data, and the LTF1502-BC1 is one ordering-code variant within the Hisense LTF1502 product family.
Optically, the module pairs an EML transmitter putting out 0 to +5 dBm at 1550 nm with an APD receiver rated to −24 dBm sensitivity. The result is a 23 dB link budget and 1600 ps/nm of dispersion tolerance, which is what a ZR-class 80 km single-mode span calls for. DDM/DOM diagnostics report live transmit power, receive power, temperature, bias and supply voltage so the link can be monitored end to end.
