EdgeOptic's LTF1502-BH+ compatible is a Hisense Broadband-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-80 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ZR transceiver. This is an SFP+ form factor module, not an SFP, operating over duplex single-mode fiber through a Double LC/UPC connector at a matched 1550 nm transmit and receive wavelength for 80 km reaches. With Hisense-recognized EEPROM coding and full DDM/DOM telemetry, the module integrates cleanly into a long-haul single-mode span.
The transmit side uses an EML laser delivering 0 to +5 dBm, and the receive side uses an APD photodiode rated to −24 dBm sensitivity. That combination yields a 23 dB link budget with 1600 ps/nm of chromatic dispersion tolerance, the margin a ZR-class 80 km link requires. The chipset runs from 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps and supports 10G and Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel at 1G, 2G, 4G, 8G, and 10G rates, and STM-64/OC-192 SDH/SONET. The applications a particular port can run depend on the host and its provisioning, so check the rate against the port configuration during commissioning.
The EdgeOptic build is a standard 0 to 70 degrees C commercial-temperature module on a +3.3V single supply and conforms to the SFF-8431 SFP+ MSA along with CE, IEC 60825-1 Class 1 laser safety, and RoHS.
