EdgeOptic's LTF8502-BH+ compatible is a Hisense Broadband-coded industrial-temperature version of the EdgeOptic 10GFH-SFP-300I multi-vendor 10G fronthaul SR transceiver. The LTF8502-BH+ is the I-temp member of Hisense's LTF8502 SFP+ family, distinct from the commercial-temperature LTF8502-BC+, for short-reach multimode links in mobile fronthaul and industrial environments. The single compatible design carries multiple vendor codes, so the same optical hardware drops into Hisense-specified links under the BH+ part number.
The module transmits at 850 nm over duplex multimode fiber using a VCSEL laser and a PIN photodiode receiver. It reaches 300 m over OM3 and farther over OM4 or OM5, with a 5.1 dB optical path loss budget and chromatic dispersion of 110 ps/nm. TX output power runs from −6 to −1 dBm, RX sensitivity is −11.1 dBm, and RX overload is 0 dBm. The module runs from a single +3.3V supply and uses an LC duplex receptacle.
As a multi-rate optic it carries line rates from 1.228 to 10.138 Gbps, covering CPRI and OBSAI mobile-fronthaul protocols as well as 10G Ethernet SR. That range lets one part serve the baseband-to-radio links and the 10G Ethernet aggregation that share a cell site or industrial cabinet, rather than stocking separate optics for each role.
Rated to the industrial −45 to +85°C temperature class, the BH+ designation marks it as the wide-temperature variant for outdoor radio sites and remote radio head links, whereas the BC+ variant is specified for 0 to +70°C commercial use. That difference matters when the optic sits in an unconditioned outdoor enclosure that swings well below freezing or above commercial limits. The compatible supports digital diagnostics monitoring (DOM) for real-time readout of transmit power, receive power, laser bias, supply voltage and module temperature, which helps with commissioning and link troubleshooting. It conforms to SFF-8431 and the SFP+ MSA. Confirm the temperature rating needed for the deployment before ordering.
