EdgeOptic's 537963-B21 compatible is an HPE-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-PDAC-SFP multi-vendor SFP+ to SFP+ passive direct attach copper cable. 537963-B21 is HPE's ordering code for the BladeSystem c-Class 10GbE SFP+ to SFP+ 5m Direct Attach Copper Cable. The assembly is a point-to-point Twinax cable with SFP+ connectors permanently fixed at each end, so no separate transceiver modules and no external power are required. This 5 meter length uses AWG24 conductors, the heavier gauge that the 10G-PDAC-SFP family carries across its 4 to 10 meter lengths; shorter 0.5 to 3 meter lengths in the same family use thinner AWG30 conductors; confirm the length and gauge before ordering.
