QSFP28-100G-LR-BXU1 Huawei Compatible 100G BiDi LR 10km Transceiver

EdgeOptic's QSFP28-100G-LR-BXU1 compatible is a Huawei-coded version of the EdgeOptic BIDI-100G-Q28-SL10A multi-vendor 100G BiDi QSFP28 transceiver. It uses a single LC/UPC connector over a single strand of single-mode fiber, with a maximum reach of 10 km and an average link budget of 6.1 dB.

The module transmits at 1271 nm and receives at 1331 nm, carrying 100G Ethernet PAM4 at 106.25 Gbps. It uses an EML laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, with FEC integrated in the DSP and full DDM support for real-time optical monitoring.

BiDi modules work in matched pairs on a single fiber strand. QSFP28-100G-LR-BXU1 (P/N 02315GHX) transmits at 1271 nm and receives at 1331 nm; the opposite end needs the mirrored QSFP28-100G-LR-BXD1 (P/N 02315GHY), which transmits at 1331 nm and receives at 1271 nm. Don't install two BXU1 modules on the same strand; the wavelengths won't align and the link won't come up.

The optical port type for this module is 100G-BIDI-LR, supported on the CloudEngine XH9000 and XH8000 series, and the CloudEngine 9800, 8800 and 6800 series running V300R020C00 or later, with cross-listings in the CloudEngine S16700, S5700, S6700 and S200-S600 series module catalogs. Confirm exact chassis and firmware support against Huawei's Info-Finder before ordering.

The transceiver operates across a standard 0 to 70 degrees C case temperature range, runs from a single +3.3V supply, and draws up to 4.5W.

It complies with IEEE 802.3cd, the CAUI-4 electrical interface and the SFF-8679 mechanical specification, and carries CE and RoHS marks.
