This 25G Passive Twinax Cable is made up of passive copper cable rated by AWG (American Wire Gauge) with number 30 representing resistance of copper cable that is permanently linked to MSA compatible SFP28 transceiver assemblies at each end of the cable, delivering consistent link length. Passive Twinax cables do not have active electronic components like active copper cables or optical lasers like AOC cables, making them a very cost-effective method for short-distance interconnections.
