EdgeOptic's TOM-100G-Q-SR4 compatible is an Infinera-coded version of the EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-100 multi-vendor QSFP28 transceiver. One physical 100GBASE-SR4 design ships against the EEPROM coding required across the major optical-platform vendors, including the Infinera TOM product line. The module covers 100 Gb Ethernet over four parallel 25 Gb/s lanes on multi-mode fiber to the 100GBASE-SR4 specification.
TOM is Infinera's product designation for client-side pluggable transceivers on their optical transport platforms. The TOM-100G-Q-SR4 SKU corresponds to Infinera ordering part number 130-0334-001 and is the parallel-MMF QSFP28 client-side optic in the 100G TOM-Q family.
