It is a dual-rate SFP+ module that runs 10GBASE-LR at 10.31 Gbps and 1000BASE-LX at 1.25 Gbps over a duplex single-mode fiber pair using a 1310 nm DFB laser and a PIN photodiode receiver. The optical interface meets IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52, uses LC duplex connectors, and carries a 6 dB link budget for a guaranteed 10 km reach over SMF.
