It has a minimum guaranteed optical budget of 4.6 dB, which in most cases is sufficient to reach a distance of approximately 300 meters. However, distance is merely an indicative parameter calculated for identification convenience. Eventually, we calculate distance by factoring in minimal optical budget and average attenuation of industrial optical cabling.
