EdgeOptic's SRX-QSFP-40G-LR4 compatible is a Juniper-coded version of the EdgeOptic 40G-QSFP-10 multi-vendor 40GBASE-LR4 transceiver, matching Juniper part number 740-073096. It is coded with Juniper-recognized EEPROM so the optic identifies correctly on Juniper SRX series security gateways. The SRX- ordering code is specific to the SRX firewall family and is distinct from Juniper's EX and QFX platform codes. The module is a QSFP+ 40GBASE-LR4 optic that runs 40 Gigabit Ethernet to 10 km over duplex single-mode fiber on a double LC/UPC connector.
